With 8 PCI and 3 EISA slots, the AlphaServer 2100A lets you use the low-cost, industry-standard options that work best for you. Even with the AlphaServer 2100 systems, you can upgrade to an AlphaServer 2100A with a swap of the backplane -- all 2100 CPUs and memory modules migrate to the 2100A. And you can easily swap the 2100 and 2100A CPUs: 4/275, 5/250, and 5/300.

  • Up to four 64-bit 300 MHz processors
  • Up to 2 GB ECC memory (1 GB for 4-CPU model)
  • Up to 68.8 GB internal
    (4 TB total) storage
  • Up to 4 MB ECC cache /processor
